Parents of Bishop Okoye Spiritan Secondary School had stolen the show during the fourth edition of BOSSS Annual Interhouse Sports. The parents did not only participate in an exciting race and march past but  they lashed  the staff  team 2-1 in a  novelty football  encounter that many adjudged quite thrilling.  Intensed effort by the staff team during the match led by the Sports director Rev Fr Dominic Nnoshiri C.S.Sp which  has been the perennial winner  of the yearly novelty  football match, could not secure them victory as the parents resisted all tactical maneuvering of the staff team to secure not even an equalizer.

Meanwhile, Grey House A.K.A Fr . Greg Olikenyi House was able to retain the first position at the Interhouse Sports Competition after securing the highest aggregate mark. The house was closely followed by Blue and red house that came second and third respectively.

In a related development, the chairman of the Occasion Chief Cosmas Agu ESQ, who was represented by the Managing Partner Salvage Solicitors Barr. Nwaude Athanasius Esq, felicitated with BOSSS community on the successful event.  He charged the athletes to be professional and happily accept the outcome of the contest. The Chairman also lauded the management of BOSSS for the robust facilities provided for the good of the students attributing such giant strides to the quality leadership provided by the principal and his team.  In a show of commitment towards the upgrading of the facilities at BOSSS, the chairman flagged off the construction of a gymnasium in the school which he pledged to build to the finish. In their separate remarks the principal and the director of sports,  appreciated the kind gesture of the chairman whom they described  as a dependable friend of BOSSS.  They also thanked other  well-wishers that supported the occasion.  High point of the event was the presentation of medals to deserving athletes.

The sporting event was attended by dignitaries including a high powered delegation from the Spiritan Provincialate Onitsha, media houses and government functionaries.
