By Media Office Students of Bishop Okoye Spiritan Secondary School have come back with two gold medals as they participated in the 2023 Annual Interhouse sports competition of Jesuit Memorial College Port Harcourt held on 18th November, 2023. The students won senior boys and girls in 4by 100 metre invitational relays to defeat other invited schools. In his reaction to the feat, the principal of BOSSS Rev Fr Jude Ekemgba C.S.Sp and The Dean of Students Affairs and Director of Sports Rev Fr Kingsley Dike C.S.Sp who commented separately after the good outing, said they were pleased with the performance of the contingents and thanked the coaches and the students for the collective commitment that saw to the the big wins. Dike Madonna, Nwaohiri Ucheomachi, Onwuzuruike Kirsten and Ikhalo Lisa won the female category while Okoye Kachi, Obi Michael, Makbere Michael and Edi Ampitor won the male invitational relay. Although the seniors swept the golds, BOSSS Juniors could replicate the feat of the seniors. While admonishing the Junior ones not be discouraged for not winning their race, the priests said they should not be so worried as they could win tomorrow. BOSSS has record of good performance in invitational relays and other sports and has so many laurels to that effect.
