The principal of Bishop Okoye Spiritan Secondary School, Rev Fr Jude Ekemgba C.S.Sp has charged the newly admitted students into the school to uphold discipline in their conducts as they begin their six year academic journey in BOSSS. The principal gave the charge during the 2023 week long orientation program organized by the school from 3rd to 10th September, 2023. He noted that discipline was a virtue they must embrace for them to be successful not only in the school but also in their entire lives. He encouraged them to identify with friends that will add value to them rather than distract them. He expressed happiness with their conduct and charged them not to deviate. The vice Principal of the school and the outgoing Vice Principal II Rev Fr John Paul Edoziem C.S.Sp and Rev Fr Vincent Ibe C.S.Sp who also took the students through the academic life of the school informed them that the school has been running multi-curricula programs that demand seriousness and hardwork to excel and urged them to brace up for rigorous all round development guaranteed by the school. Other speakers namely the bursar of the school, Rev Fr Remigius Onyeaghala C.S.Sp, the director of Health and Maintenance, Rev Fr Chinedu Aneke C.S.Sp, the outgoing Dean of Students Affairs/ Director of Sports Rev Fr Dominic Nnoshiri C.S.Sp as well as other resource persons charged the students to ensure they do the right thing always by following the regulations and guidelines for students conduct in the school. The program ended with award ceremony to students who excelled during the exercise.
